Authoring Software

Authoring software is software used to aid in the creation of HTML Web pages. Web pages can be created from scratch using HTML, or using authoring software can shield Web page authors from having to know the details involved in creating HTML pages. For example, some software allows users to design Web pages in Microsoft Word, and then convert the Word document to an HTML Web page.
